The American Audio MXR-10 is a two-channel USB professional DJ Mixer with an internal 4-in/4-out internal DJ soundcard with additional MIDI buttons and the necessary features to let DJ’s get right into the Digital Mix. The American Audio MXR-10 feels like a professional quality mixer and there is a nice basic feature set that all DJ’s can use to manipulate the music. Watch my full HD-Video and read my full written review at the link at the top of this description.

When you said there is no master output for headphones does this mean I
will not hear what is playing on time coded vinyl on the mixers headphones?

jampierre olivera says:

Great video and very informative thanks for the upload!

Dwight Grant says:

1200’s

Dharyl Rodis says:

I recently purchased a 10MXR and am having trouble connecting it to my PC
to use Virtual DJ. I was under the impression that it was “plug and play”
but the audio doesn’t seem to be working,(the master volume level
indicators are not lighting up), even though other functions are working
just fine. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you for your help.

maurice w says:

Gavin Castillo says:

Mike Diligent says:

unplugging and nothing do you know what the problem mite be. cheers

for0you0only1 says:

Can the all the buttons beside the channel faders be used as cue points or
is it just the first 2?

Mike Diligent says:

do you know what the FX are like on the Behringer NOX202 by any chance.

Clevert Gonzalez says:

Hi Kareem,i use traktor audio 4dj with timecode and kontrol x1, can this
mixer replace my interfase to use traktor scratch pro like the Z2 or i have
to keep the audio4dj sound card ????

DJbooth DJ's says:

Yes, you can use the internal soundcard to play timecode CD’s or Vinyl
using VDJ, Decadance, Mixvibes, and other DJ software.

valentinecustoms says:

hey Kareem, any idea what innofader this thing is compatible with?

Mescauxl Quinoa Ergautier says:

Good day sir! Is it possible to cue out songs played with traktor thru the
cue output of this mixer ? I am assuming I could set this under the
preference right? Thank you!

SELEKTA RONNIE says:

Is it scratch live compatible? without an sl box?

DJbooth DJ's says:

Thanks Bro! These are pretty cheap right now.

DJbooth DJ's says:

Thanks!

Jose Heredia says:

Why, thank you.

djqwiz25 says:

Can you the faders get midi and audio at the same time? If so that’d be
awesome.

azumanation says:

Is it compatible with all of the Mixvibes timecode programs from DVS pro 6
to their newest program cross 2.0???

Fidel Delgado says:

Good With Serato.

DJbooth DJ's says:

Yes it will work with cross 2.0 and VDJ, and Decadance, and many others.
Just not Traktor nor Serato.

DJbooth DJ's says:

These faders do pass midi information to the computer…

Mike Valencia says:

can it be used with timecode with vdj with the internal sound card?

valentinecustoms says:

Ok so I was planning to use an audio 8 card for the Traktor DVS, but can I
use the Midi functions to control Traktor at the same time?

sponge2fall03 says:

do you know what innofader you would need for this mixer its not listed on
the web site

valentinecustoms says:

Great thanks.

azumanation says:

Thanks for the good info.

DJbooth DJ's says:

Probably the Innofader PNP, but contact innofader through their website
just to confirm. They will hit you back quickly.

DJbooth DJ's says:

No, not for Traktor. For traktor you need a Traktor Certified Mixer like
the Pioneer DJM-T1, or Z2 to pull it off. You can use this mixer for other
software like Virtual DJ or Decadance or Mixvibes.

jordanreif11 says:

Is it Traktor compatible? Will the soundcard work with traktor also?

DJbooth DJ's says:

Yes you can.

DJbooth DJ's says:

If you have an SSL interface, then any mixer can do Video DJ-ing. It’s a
software feature through Serato…Not really the mixer.

Jose Heredia says:

Very informative.

DJbooth DJ's says:

I’m not exactly sure to tell you the truth. It’s not Traktor Certified, so
I don’t know if the soundcard will show up in Traktor and allow you to
change the outputs how you want…

DJbooth DJ's says:

It’s probably the PNP version, but email Elliot at Innofader to be 100%
sure. He’ll get right back to you.

DJbooth DJ's says:

Thank you sir! Your videos are great as well…

DJbooth DJ's says:

It will work with Traktor in Internal mode, but not in DVS timecode mode
with external decks…

Clayton Jarrell says:

You should post a video of u just doing a freestyle or something. That be
cool!

DJbooth DJ's says:

Yes, as long as you have SSL interface to go along with it.

djqwiz25 says:

Are you able to midi map the faders?

Mescauxl Quinoa Ergautier says:

Thanks for the headsup on this.

DJbooth DJ's says:

Yes, you can. The faders send MIDI signal.
